Eskimo Valhalla

Back in August, my friends and I participated in the 2010 Los Angeles 48-Hour Film Project – a competition that challenges filmmakers to write, shoot, and edit a film in two days.  It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

The competition worked like this:We showed up at the kickoff event at 7pm on Friday night, and had to have our completed film turned in by 7pm on Sunday.  To ensure no one wrote or shot anything before the competition began, all the filmmakers were required to incorporate four surprise elements into their films – ours were: dark comedy, a keyboard, the line “I have no idea”, and an actor/actress character named Jamie Woodnit.

In two days, with no sleep, this was what we came up with…
